Michael has been named the Kaplan Fellow in Composition at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. He will work closely with composer-in-residence Derek Bermel in a 6-week Composition Program and will have a work performed on the Gamper Festival of Contemporary Music. Guest composers include Chen Yi and Kevin Puts.
Now in its second year, the Kaplan Fellowship Program is a unique offering geared to mature, accomplished players at the beginning of significant careers in music.
