SOUNDS OF SUMMER: KAPLAN FELLOWS PREMIERE CONCERTO GROSSO IN NYC
On Monday, December 7, 2015, the Kaplan Fellows of the Bowdoin International Music Festival will be presenting a special concert in New York City. The concert will be an evening of music by Barber, Lavignac, Martinů, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, and the premiere of inaugural Kaplan Fellow in Composition, Michael-Thomas Foumai's Concerto Grosso written for all the Kaplan Fellows combined. The performance begins at 7:30pm at Christ & St. Stephens Church.
