PROGRAM NOTE

Coronal Loops are massive fiery emissions from the sun's surface that give the appearnce of great rings or bands looping in space. A perpetual motion, the figurations and trajectory of the this work is inspired by the looping shape and fierce fiery quality of the emissions. This work exists in three forms, for solo violin, viola and a duo for 13-string koto and cello.
